Established by Mr. G. Ravindrakumar, an accomplished civil engineer, and the late Mr. A. Anjaiah, a proficient B.A. Commerce graduate, DUAL originated from the partnership of these friends, roommates, and business associates. Since its inception in 1982, DUAL began its journey as a construction firm. Throughout the years, the company has effectively executed and finalized a multitude of projects, spanning industrial endeavors, multi-storied commercial and residential complexes, institutional structures, software technology parks, hospitals, and hotels. Our firm has reshaped the cityscapes of prominent urban centers like Chennai, Bangalore, and Visakhapatnam with landmark developments that continue to make a statement to this day
In 2006, DUAL underwent a strategic shift into real estate development, marking a significant milestone in its journey. The company focused on land acquisition in emerging areas of Chennai as well as its outskirts, thereby consolidating its asset portfolio. During this phase, DUAL diversified its holdings, by establishing a robust rental asset foundation and expanding into new business sectors, such as hostels and construction equipment leasing.
In 2023, DUAL embarked on a new chapter with the launch of its first major plotted land development, PRIDE CITY, spanning 55 acres in Thandalam. The satellite township, has been designed as a holistic community with a proposed school, Hospital, Shopping Mall and Function Hall. The launch of the initial 10 acres as Phase 1 on February 2024, achieved remarkable success in terms of recognition and sales. The triumph of PRIDE CITY is attributed to the foresight, commitment, and joint efforts of the second generation at DUAL.
DUAL is set to venture into the hospitality industry with the initiation of a Coliving project in Padur, strategically located next to the Sipcot IT Park. This ambitious 500-room project aims to revolutionize the coliving sector in Chennai, introducing facilities typically found in international cities like Hong Kong and singapore. DUAL is also actively working on establishing a resort on ECR, Chennai. Anticipated to open its doors to the public in 2027, this resort project underscores DUAL's commitment to offering diverse and high-quality experiences in the hospitality industry. With an eye set towards the future DUAL hopes to continue its legacy for many generations to come.
